Seeing The Butterfly

Movies Reasons I Won’t Be Seeing The Butterfly Effect
1)It’s rated R
2) It got bad review. Ashton Kutcher really wasn’t the right person for the part.
3)Anything that messes with the time stream is on my bad list!! As the title suggests if one little thing went wrong such as the effect of the butterfly dying in prehistoric times then a whole chain of things could have gone wrong. Even though it’s a made up movie, it still messes with it.
4) Isn’t there some fable about messing with things and it always gets worse after you try to change them, so you should just let it be? I guess that doesn’t have to do with why I am not seeing it, but the movies creator totally looked over this fable thing….

I do want to see Win a Date With Tad Hamilton! though. Maybe Kim will see it with me…

The FDA reported that the number of adverse events reported by drug makers, doctors and patients for prescription drugs soared 14 percent last year to a record high of 422,500. That’s up from 370,887 in 2003. Most of those reports come directly from pharmaceuticals companies, which are required to report any adverse effects that they know of. The rest of the reports are voluntary, leading experts to believe that the FDA report covers only a fragment of the actual adverse events that occur in the country.
Paul Seligman, director of the FDA’s Office of Pharmacoepidemiology and Statistical Sciences, says the bigger numbers are a direct reflection of the growing numbers of prescription drugs on the market. But Sidney Wolfe from Public Citizen suggested that greater consumer awareness of adverse drug events may also be fueling the growth.

good?
the doc called me at the ass crack of dawn–i dont’ have POCD! My insulin and cholesterol are good (which damn makes me want to go eat a pile of onion rings),but my testosterone levels are high which accounts for the superficial stuff like acne and he suggests going on the pill. I am going to sleep on it-historically BC pills make me fat and cranky. He said despite my high bp I shouldnt’ worry, but then he doens’t know what a worry wart i am. First sign of a headache is aneurysm, my left arm falling asleep is a sure sign of a heart attack.

i was late again. between the call and i had a dream about my mom, who passed away last year, it was one of the only vivid dreams i have had with her. I could feel her hold on to me, though in the dream she was sick. I didnt’ want to wake up.

crappy microwave huevos and turkey bacon for breakfast. One egg flew across the machine onto the side, so i just had one egg. drats!

School of Excellence
We had the School of Excellence Ceremony today because of our good EOG scores and acedemic crap… It was really boring and few people got awards for hight math/reading scores in 7th/8th grade. And on points on EOG growth… It was fairly boring and of couse Amyn was one of the speakers. I think Amyn hates me…. The only thing taht was good about the assembly was Jazz Band, because Jazz Band rocks…. Also the 7th graders were on the bleachers and when we were supposed to clap some stomped their feet, like you do at school sport games when we score. Wagooner was really mad so Mr. Long had to come to the classrooms to lecture on how our behavior relfected upon him and the teachers… At least he wasted time from Social Studies…
